Ngwenya Developments

During the month of May, in the previous Shareholder Newsletter, news was brought to light with regards to the future plans for the expansion of Ngwenya Lodge.

 

This ray of hope, during the state of national disaster as a result of COVID-19, continues to express the confidence and sustainability of Ngwenya Lodge. This expansion will be of great value to the ongoing conservation efforts of preserving the Kruger National Park and surrounds. By now, we are aware of the pressures that the government-enforced regulations have imposed on employment within South Africa, which makes this project more valuable as much-needed employment opportunities arise during this time.

 

Our ongoing conservation efforts in support of protecting the Kruger National Park and surrounds against future prospecting or mining activities will further be supported by the additional shareholders from this development.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank every shareholder, and your families, for the ongoing support. As we work together to add value to your preferred holiday destination, through the expansion project, know that we will continue to do all we can to protect this rich environment which we have all come to love. We will continue to provide updates on the progress of the Ngwenya expansion.

As part of our ongoing mission to provide a safe holiday environment for our guests, whilst simultaneously abiding by the government-enforced regulations, as outlined in the level-5, risk adjusted strategy, please take note of the regulations which have been implemented at Ngwenya Lodge.

Guests are required to wear a mask, which covers the nose and mouth, whilst making use of public spaces.
   

Security will, upon arrival, measure the temperature of each and every individual occupying the vehicle. Should any occupant’s temperature measure above 37.8°C, the vehicle will not be permitted to enter the premises.

   

The Restaurant, as well as the Bar and Shop, will be open for limited time periods; kindly be in touch with the Resort directly for further information in this regard.

   

Select facilities and activities may be restricted or operate at a limited capacity, as is permissible under government regulations. Please be in touch with the Resort directly for further clarification.

   
Housekeeping will be kept to a minimum throughout your stay to ensure social-distancing is upheld. Cleaning services are currently not available over weekends. Please be in touch with the Resort for any additional housekeeping arrangements.
   
Mbali Day Spa will be open for reservations only; kindly be in touch with the Resort directly to make a spa booking.
